"The French Being French"

Lately the French have had myriad issues concerning the viability and solvency of their government, yet they question the United States? Was it not the U.S. that rebuked the tyranny of King George III and created the world’s most benevolent and civilized documents ever comprised. On the flip side, the French tried revolution two times before ever becoming successful and even then they used our constitution as its foundation and inspiration.

Last year in France’s cities some 9,000 cars were torched and riots became endemic due to France’s disregard for work ethic. Now the youth have paraded towns torching some 250 cars in the past three days essentially saying that they want, “Better paying jobs and less work.” A majority of these protestors are immigrants who exploit democracy but live through theocracy.

France has many issues to deal with in their upcoming 2007 presidential elections, not the least of which is immigration. France has the largest Muslim population in Europe, some 5 million, and seems powerless while these immigrants set fire to cars and buildings jeopardizing the health and safety of France’s citizens. All the while, President Jacques Chirac appeases them by giving into their demands, further indicating to these immigrants that France’s government is weak. President Chirac is at the mercy of their wants and needs, not his country’s!

The French need not criticize America’s “War on Terror” along with America’s other foreign and domestic policies until they work out their own. There is a reason why the U.S. is the world’s only superpower and not France, which never was.

By the way, French fries are not even French, they are from Belgium.

RE: November 2006 elections

To all concerned citizens of the good ol’ Uncle Sam:

It has become evermore evident that the November 2006 congressional elections will indeed be the most important elections of our time. For more than two centuries our country has fought to create a government built on three main ideals: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I has now become even more than that: life, liberty, pursuit of happiness and pursuit of one’s self gain. We now live in a nation not of brothers, not of sisters, not of mothers, not of fathers, but of acquaintances and nothing more. We are no longer unified and the world knows it and exploits it. We as a nation must unite for ourselves, our companions, and our families, for if we do not, we will begin an ever ending slope of defeat.

September 11, 2001 is a day that should be remembered; yet, we as a nation have forgotten, acting as if nothing has happened and trying to “understand” and help the enemies who did this. We stand divided over the issue of terrorism and the world sees us as weak. When the U.S. first entered Afghanistan in 2002 we demonstrated to the world that we meant business. Now we stay there fighting and fighting making little progress, for we are afraid to use excessive force; however, we fight an enemy that will stop at nothing. They will sacrifice a friend, a brother, a sister, a family to seek their “paradise” with Allah. We as a nation do not understand, no, appreciate, the intensity of this impeding issue for this war on terror is inevitable and will go on for some time.

Every day I watch the news I see a multitude of debates over abortion, gay rights, immigration, alternative energy sources, healthcare, and of course “Global Warming”. What we as a nation fail to realize is our obliviousness to a world issue that we value with little thought. Terrorism! Now I once again say this because many Democrat senators and representatives constantly say, “This is Bush following in his daddy’s footsteps. Bush just wants oil for all his friends. This is all a cover up because Bush wants us to not see his real mistakes.” I believe, “Anyone who believes that should be voted out of office for they have not the capacity to fathom what a dire situation our country is in. At this juncture in history we cannot afford a sea change in congress, for it will only prove to be counterproductive to our nation’s struggle. How can one consider electing the Democrat party which has yet to come up with a plan for this nation and as citizens should question their veracity as patriots. All this party wishes to do is constantly undermine the President and his administration. To elect the Democrat party in power of Congress at this time would be catastrophic.

I recently overheard a 14 year old girl mention that Mr. Bush was an idiot, that doesn’t know what he is doing. I pondered telling her two things (1)You always refer to the President as President Bush and not Mr. Bush. And (2) You are not yet old enough to understand what is good for this country or not, what is right or wrong, what decision is good or not. You know nothing more than what your mommy and daddy tell you at the dinner table. This now struck and idea into my head that is completely relevant to our time. Our generation is being brainwashed and not being allowed to think for themselves. Our media corrupts our nation instead of informing it. Therein lies another one of our many problems.

Our country is indeed the undisputed reigning superpower however, if we wish to remain that way, live the lives we live, and think no one can hurt us, we are wrong and rightly so should be taught a lesson. Though I say, let us not have a lesson taught to us, let us stop anyone who wishes harm to our great nation. The world’s movements towards the U.S. are not innocuous. There is only one issue of the many that concern this country at this time and that is terrorism. I beg of you, if you go to the polls to vote this November, think of what is in the best interest of our nation, and do not vote for a party or candidate that wishes to “understand,” vote for a party or candidate who wishes to succeed. We must realize, our enemies wish not to understand us, but obliterate us. This is your time to make a difference, what you do will effect your nation’s future. Do not fail the Founding Fathers!
